control help please!!

I'm having trouble with my wing man rumble pad controller. I have configured it in the options menu and have chosen the controllerbut it still doesn't work. Can someone please tell me what the problem is??

So when you assign buttons, it works fine? Is the Player 1 controller marked as 'Plugged'?
