I have seen that ppl recomend to use the roms that contain the (U) and not the (E). Why is that?

If that is so, then I have to get all my games in the (U) version.

Thanks.

(U) games run at a higher frame rate.

Some (E) games have poor PAL conversions.

So, to get a better higher framerate, I should go with the (U) right?

I have been using the (E), and some of the translated text, (even the English one lol:bouncy: ) is to dark, or to compressed to read.

Thanks

Yep, you'll get a higher framerate. The difference in framerates between the (U) and (E) versions is very noticable. The only loss with (U) versions is that they often lack the extra languages (which is not a problem if you intend to play in English only).

Some games have text that is poorly filtered by Jabo's plugins (D3D6/D3D8), and certain settings are required to make it easier to read, like enabling/disabling the filters.
