Well... something had to mess with the NGC`s UK launch. I noticed the preorder ad banners in Argos today (along with notable lack of XBox material ANYWHERE IN TOWN!) quoting the price as "£169.99"
Ba$tard retailers... that`s one less game I can afford come launch day. Wish we could start some campaign against them... knocking £20 extra onto the RRP purely for profit margin reasons frankly sucks ass.
(And hey, is anyone else getting one of those purple inflatable chairs for free with their `Cube?)

The suggested retail price is like 149.
You're forgetting UK has huuuuuge import taxes tho...

The annoying part is that this has absolutely nothing to do with import taxes or anything else. According to Nintendo UK the £149 RRP is how much it should cost. Final buying cost. It`s the greedy scum retailers who claim not to be making enough money from that (yeah... right) and so have stuck another £20 on top of the RRP. It`s not that its a high price to pay, its just the fact that it really pisses me off that retailers have ignored the £149 price to make themselves extra money that Nintendo will never see. 5 `cubes sold with £20 on the price is another £100 the store will make which is just ridiculous. This is retailers ripping us off. Isn`t there somewhere we could complain to about this..? I`m thinking Office of fair trade, trading standards or somewhere like that...
BTW Redah, I love that little GBA avatar.
