It's so piss poor as well, The Pokemon franchise needs a proper revamp not just the GBC sprites done on in more colours, or another 100 pokemon, and this game is going to show off linkage with it's GC counterpart ;)

The original two Pokemon games were actually very good (read: addictive) back when they were released (and I`m talking back in 1996 after the Japanese launch before the world domination set in), but even I find those shots extremely disappointing. Though if you want a very long lasting game it looks like being one. My first game on `Blue has over 80 hours clocked up and I`m still missing 3 or 4 that I`ll never get now. Though thankfully someone traded me a proper Mew the very day I quit my last job and I still have it heh heh heh... Add another 100 from Gold/Silver (which even I didn`t buy) to that for around say 150 hours play. Then another 100 monsters again. Do we have the worlds first 200 hour plus game? ;)
Think I`ll be going with the joys of Luigi`s Mansion at around 20 hours.
