Hi all,

I'm currently using the latest version of Project64 to play banjo kazooie and tooie. When playing the game at the side of the screen there is a coloured line down the right hand edge of the screen that flickers, is this normal and is there a way to remove it?

Also when text appears on the screen it is smooth, its kind of rough? like its not antialiased, is there a way to sort this out.

Regards

Dan

As for the line on the screen you'd have to post your system specs.

For the text appearing 'rough' and anti-aliased it is likely because you are playing at a resolution higher than that of the native N64.

I believe it is addressed in the game faq that the ideal resolutions are 640x480 or a multiple of those.

However playing at a lower resolution and cranking FSAA and such would get rid of the ugly textures and sometimes the text.

thanks for the reply, I will try the resolution change next time i play.

As for my specs they are:

P4 3.2gHz
512mb ram
256mb Geforce 4400Ti graphics card
Windows XP

The line is only 1 or 1 pixels wide in a rainbow colur down the right hand side of the screen.

make sure you have the lastest drivers for your graphics card

The coloured line(s) might have something to do with overscan.

The writing looks normal when you use the emulator through a TV.
