My friends and I recently played a LAN game with Super Smash Brothers, and it ran fine, but we were wondering if there is any way to use the hidden characters in multiplayer. My friend unlocked all secret characters, but we haven't found a way to share the wealth. =\ Can anyone help?

I assume you're using the same emus and rom version. I believe all you do is copy his SRAM file (extension is .sra) for SSB to your computer. Then your rom will have the same save data as his, e.g. characters.

if the netplay part is done correctly no sram data should be read from disk when netplaying (to make the players stay in sync)
if it is like this there is no way to do it :/

edit: maybe you can use cheats but you have to use on both machines since I don't think they are transmitted (if they are even enabled.... theorethically they shouldn't....)
