i've been maintaner of gbx player site now for a while, i know this project has been goin on for quite some time, ast here have been 4 or so releases. save/states have just been implemented. could it be that Zero jsut used the visual boy code to do this??

GBX Player is a fake of the old VisualBoy. If you have any doubt, save a game in it and load it in VisualBoy.

Enough said.

* UPDATE * - if you want another way to verify it, check your registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Emulators\Vis ualBoy. Delete this node, run GBX Player and check again the registry.

this is startin to get to me...
i just want people to know, if GBX Player is fake, i had no prior knowledge to it. all along i have thought that it was completely original. i hope that since i do maintain the site, my name and reputation will not be tarnished as well. if within the next 48 hrs or so we don't get a response from ZeRo, i will most likely take the site down. so, until then...

what i belieive the truth to be is this:
i think (i hope) that ZeRo and X coded a good part of the core and graphics, and maybe even sound by themselves. since there is such great evidence showing that they copied Visual Boy save states, i can't help but believing they did. also, i think that Dr. Light (new member to GBX Player as of .75Final) is responsible for implenting joypad support, as acknowledged. this is just my two sense, we will have to wait and see. although, i do remember quite a long time ago i accused ZeRo's emu of being fake, but that was until he backed it up with sn's before there were any menu's or anything. i don't know guys, i'm torn on this one.

I had suspitions, but no proofs.

He never answerd this... Nor here, nor by email(I had already asked about this by mail, before he released 0.5 version.)

So everything was fake...
"his" emu
his girlfriend(s)
his brother's death (it was there to advertise the release of "his" emu)
most probably his brother at all.

Well I myself haven't released version 0.75 yet.(Version 0.75 has not been
fully tested yet and has some slowdown problems which i wan't to take care
of first that's why I haven't been on Emutalk or Internet that much for the
last week).
It's still in development and will be released in about one ,maybe two weeks
and on another note what's this about X ?
X isn't dead he's sitting at home as I'm typing this !

But I have the feeling someone is playing a big preactical joke one me
(which is not funny !!!)

I always work on GBXPLAYER on my pc at school (because I then can test the
speed of it).

I don't know who send an email to mesman00 (our sitedesinger) but I guess it
must be someone from school who's using a false email sender (don't know the
name for such a proggie :) where you can enter any email address and then
send it and if someone replies to it they send the email to someone who
doesn't know why)and he must know my password because I always use the same
password to do stuff.And some might know my password
(It's the same password I use for school,Emutalk,IGN,Dutch Gaming Network ,
MSN and everything).

So I apologize for all things that were done by someone else I'll change all
my passwords and see what will happen.

P.S : I'll ask Mesman00 to take down the "0.75 final release" as well as
the "X" memoriable

as for why he didn't post it at these boards... i dont know. i posted it on the web page because i am the site maintainer, ZeRo gives me the news (or in this case email) and i just update that site as needed. i will ask about the registry question

Well, I gotta say that if GBX player is fake, it`s probably a pretty good one, cause no one noticed it through the 4 or so versions that this emu has had. And it actually won some kind of an award too.

I haven't released version 0.75 yet !
Furthermore how come that the registry ain't changed:

I suspect that someon took the latest VisualBoy release and has edited using either Resource Hakcr and/or Filebreaker to make it look a little like GBXPLAYER.

I find it really lame that people try to make me look stupid.
