How to get Chankast to load CD 1 of Shenmue? (PLEASE HELP :(

I can get it cd 2, 3, 4 to load, but no CD 1, I am using Damon tools the way

I have Googled seached for hours, I cant not google no more, makes me mad,

Must be some steps 2 take to make cd 1 load....

Anything help be sweet, thanks

Yeah, and sarcasm will get you nowhere. You only just made this thread not even 24 hours ago. I'd be inclined to say that's a bit impatient.

Sounds like your cd1 is screwed.

Also, google is a pile of crap. When searching use http://altavista.com/ or even better try Copernic Agent http://www.copernic.com/en/products/agent/index.html

UPDATE: Have installed DAEMON Tools V3.29 and now I have no more problems with CD1. So Heilongx, hope this will help you too.


I have the same problem. Only CD1 does not load. First the swirling logo of dreamcast is shown. Then a messagebox ioControl error. Then the dc bios is loaded (Just like there is no game mounted)

Kalisto - Perfect Shenmue 4 CDs

Using
Chankast_alpha_25
Virtual Daemon V3.47
On a WinXP SP2

Ok sweet I got it working, Version 3.29 caused my machine to restart every day Shenmue 1 booted up, got it working with 3.44

Now how do I save, haha, have to find out.
