The 43.xx series or 52.xx (i think) work well for the gf4mx series. I had trouble installing the 43.xx series in xp with sp2 so i tried the 52.xx and it worked well

You know, if the MX4000 was a 4MX, he'd be so much better off...

But it IS a bad video card...
Use 52.14 or 52.16 drivers. They're the best I've ever tried. Go to http://www.guru3d.com and search for it there.

Nope, it is even worse than a regular GeForce4 MX 440. The MX 4000 has 64-bit memory clocked 100MHz slower. This results in less than half the memory bandwidth than an MX 440.

worse
MX4000=32-bit bus for 64MB models
64-bit for 128MB models
anyway, itīs the worse Nvidia card ever
and the saleman, they only want a sale, and they make anything to make an sale

i doubt that gandalf, after some research the mx4000 is 64bit on both versions, you can't have a 32bit bus on a card like this, its just useless...
