too slow to play

I have just got the game DOA2LE to work, but the frame-rate, I think that is too slow. I see the chankast shows 25.58.. in average.

The sound is great, but the only flaw is the pictures; they are not too smooth.

Well, it's the way it's supposed to work on version .25

DOA2 is slow. That's how it is. Go buy yourself an actual Dremcast or a Playstation 2 if it bothers you a lot.

I am using the .25 version.

How about overclocking, the default for CPU value is set at 100%.
How about setting it to a higher value?

Here are some of my PC infos:

XP SP2, 1GB PC-3200 DDR, GrandMars ATI 9550 128MB, Maxtor 80GB 7200rpm. 3EGHZ CPU, Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4,
DX 9.0c

Changing the CPU value sometimes helps, but it can also break other things.
