anyone watched this sci-fi movie?
I did, and I found it the most meaningful film I've ever watched. It's in Japanese, but the illustrations are cartoony. It gave me great insight into the comparison of the identity of robots and humans.
who's watched it? tell me whatcha think.

it's pretty easy to match Akira for animation quality since Akira is so old

age has nothing to do with it.
just nowadays animation seems to be more digital than anything else.

age has a lot to do with it, watch Robotech/ Macross to see real old style anime
it you want better animation than Akira, watch Patlabor 2, the detail that went into that is massive, much better than Akira, better story too, you can watch GITS for the animation but the story is over rated imo,
I really liked Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' On Heavens Door, the animation in that was fluid.
