question for N64

hi guys i recently purchased a nintendo 64 and I heard people can purchase Modifacation chips for systems I asked one of my friends and he said the only Mod you can get is a cartridge that can hold Roms is this true? if it is do you guys know where i can purchase one?

Not really i think there are other mods, but why buy a N64? It's freaking old and games are incredibly rare.

Rare as in hard to find and yes maybe age desen't have too much to do with it.

Perhaps in your corner of the world, but they're quite common around here. Then there's ebay...

Acctualy all romanians emulate and are top grade GTA: VC mod creators but i lived in America a lot and plan to move there. I got my N64 in 1999 when it was still popular but in 2003 i could hardly find second hand games(this was in New York)
