All in all a great year, likely my last great one as I just turned 18..

PSP + emulators = awesome. Too bad I have a dead pixel. :(

Also got a Sony NW-HD5 MP3 player some days ago because there was a special offer about it (only 199 Euros). Was going to leave it for the Christmas but due to the price and some other reasons I got it some weeks sooner. Great piece of hardware as soon as you unlock the "secret" volume limiter that European models have. Some Europian laws suck...

While native PSP games aren't very mindblowing at the moment, the system has more homebrew than anything I've ever seen before, and it hasn't even been out a year :D. Even people with 2.0 can use most homebrew with eboot loader (yeah, I had to update to play GTA:LCS and eboot loader saved my life). DGEN for PSP runs all of my favorite Genesis games at full speed with sound and no noticable graphical glitches (Gunstar Heroes is unbelievably sexy on the PSP's LCD, and sounds great with a pair of headphones).. on the subject of audio, the PSP's audio quality is astounding with a good set of headphones. Really good amplification and very good bass/treble balance.. talk about worth $250, I have a Genesis/SNES/GB(C) and tons of other consoles in the palm of my hand. The one stuck pixel isn't big of an issue (it's in the mid to upper right corner), and I'm going to try to run the fixer video on it later on. :) I still love my DS, but damn, Sony's got my attention!

I bought a new PSP because i wanted to play homebrew (you can play some of the SNES games longer than all native PSP games together!) and i already upgraded my other PSP to 2.6 (from 1.52 :( )... I've heard about recognizing the firmware version by looking on a sticker on the package so i decided to give it a try searching local stores for PSPs from at least the "F" run (they got FW 2.0). One shop had got some F-Psp's left in a stack full of PSP's of a newer run.

I've upgraded it to 1.5, et voilà... It hasn't got any Dead pixels or lint behid the Display cover, either ( :happy:²)
