Complete game saves

[Guru64]

I tried to insert completed game saves into the memory card file that Dolphin uses and it works! Because these files can make it easier to test certain parts of a game, I decided to share them with all of you. I plan on making more for other games later.

How to use

In your Dolphin folder, there should be a folder called 'Data'. In that folder, there is a file called 'memcard_a.raw'. Replace that file with the file in the RAR you downloaded.

Hex Workshop. I put the content of a game save at the right spot in the memory file Dolphin uses. I'll do some more for other games later tonight (probably the PAL version of Zelda The Wind Waker).

It reads the save data from offset 0000A000 in the file. Just inject any save data from, for example, a .gci file at that point, and you're good to go.

I'm not sure any of us really know how the gamesave are laid out, dolphin just lets nintendo's code take care of the details :)

I understand how it work thanks Guru64 for method I found out how to place hex data with hex workshop alot trail and error I got naruto 4 game save work plus I didn't lose my other game saves "Japan games" it has both naruto4 and bleach.
Note: I'm not done with bleach still got few new characters.

Zelda WW looks at the checksum of the save data, and if incorrect, considers it corrupt. After you inject, you could try using a checksum-fixer on it, but no guarantees..

That save works fine cooliscool. But it's just a save for the start of the game. Were you trying to make one with all items?

It's dated 01/01/2000 and has a play time of 00:03:19

For those of you with the demo from the CE disc, I'm working on it right now. Arena filenames are different and as such the save file needs to be modified to comply to that.

Also on my list of things for tonight, a primitive but functional save editor. :)

I discovered that most games can load saves from any region. Super Smash Bros Melee is an exception, because the USA version has some extra thropies that aren't in the PAL version.

Can somebody try the Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! game saves on the USA version, so I can add that to the first post?

Also, I'm having alot of free time for the next three days, so you can expect new game saves...

The Sonic Adventure 2: Battle saves will work in the North American version, although I didn't test the Mario Kart saves with the American version. :i

Luigi's Mansion is debatable; the US version will crash when you press start at the title screen, while the PAL version will continue running until the end of the game introduction. I haven't heard of the Japanese one being tested however.

Save files are possible for the PAL version. :\

Dolphin doesn't come with a BIOS. To boot it, you need to have one first. But why would you want to boot the BIOS?

-you use a memory card that can be hooked up to your PC (Max Drive (Pro), USB memory adapter)
-you use a modded Gamecube and a BBA to send the saves to your PC through LAN with homebrew software (ctr-gcs, GCARS)

I found some links for you to buy the USB memory adapter or the Max Drive (Pro). These seem like the best solution for you, since it's way cheaper and easier to use.

Hello guys i wanted to ask for a save game of naruto 4 with all the chars unlocked because of what i saw it is huge and difficult to unlock all those chars when battling with 2-3 fps(i finished the story though :P)another problem is that i don't know what the menus are saying because it is in jap :D

Sorry to bump this thread up but does someone have a converted save for Resident Evil 1 and Zero.

I already tried converting a few from Gamefaqs using Cooliscools Memory card tool but they always are corrupt when I try to use them with Dolphin.

Using Cooliscools memory card wont work except for Zelda Windwaker due to it misplace the data where it should write to.
I use winhex editor to overwrite the memcard with my poor two hands which is the pain in the ass.XD
well,i will make more games save when i have time.

But its in the middle of the game.
I dont want to be ungreatful but i realy want to start from the beginning, not in the middle of someone elses game.
After one round is done and you start all over again, there i want to start the game.
