As you see in the picture below, the program was called "Multimedia Viewer" and it was made from Microsoft years ago (the version I'm using is a 16 bits one)

It reads MVB format files. They are huge files with text, photos, and data. Of course this program was created when the "Multimedia PC" was something new. But this program is too old, crappy, and it doesn't even work with the mouse scroll function (I really need this, because I use it to read larges texts).

Don't you guys know something about this MVB format? Is there any new programs to read it or it is totally obsolete?

try that windows extension finder thingie, you know when the comp dunno an extension and go check on it over the web, it may find another program for you to start searching for a freeware on.

I did a little research on the MVB file extension and i found this:
http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=MVB

According to it the last version of Multimedia Viewer was 2.00, thats the one you have.

After some googling, http://www.herdsoft.com/catalog/ehlp2rtf.html convert mvb to rtf, but it isn't free :(

EDIT: Some more googling,

The Windows Help File Decompiler HelpDeco Version 2.1 will recreate all source files (RTF, HPJ, MVP, BMP, WMF, SHG, MRB,...) from all Windows 3.x/'95 .HLP help files and most .MVB multi media viewer titles.
