replays are glitchy
resolution detection problems
in D3D6 v1.5.2 plugin the following applies:
Force Normal Blending helps with shadow issues
Force Depth Enable for players
in D3D8 v1.6 plugin the following applies:
Force Alpha Blending helps with shadow issues
use D3D transform pipeline may be very much faster
replays may look a bit better than in D3D6 v1.5.2
resolution detection is worse e.g. on title screens than D3D6 v1.5.2
