Hi, I'm new at this whole process and am having a problem. Sorry if this has already been answered (it probably has), I search and couldn't find anything. Also the game is listed as one of the working games and I have the latest release.

I just got my first .iso and attempted to load it in the emulator. When it first opens I get an error saying "No Joystick Detected", this isn't strange because I don't have one. (Will probably get one this week) I click OK and a little window that says booting... appears for a few seconds then disappears. It sits for a few seconds before it crashes.

Sorry if this is obvious, but I was wondering if it had to do with me not having a controller, it being a bad .iso, or a problem with my computer. I have attached my DxDiag so you can see my system specs.

Thanks.

Firstly the question has been answered, so maybe if you search harder, you will find the answer.

Secondly, can people please read ALL the sticky forums before posting

Thirdly your rom should not be .iso but .gcm so use GC-Tool on the Sticky menu to do this

Sorry about missing some of the info in the stickies and not searching well enough. However, even after going through all of the stickies and spending a lot of time searching, I still can't solve the problem. I've turned off framebuffer, have the latest version of Direct X, disabled dynarec, and changed the .iso to .gcm. I have two games and they both act the same way. They also can be identified (but not played) in dolwin, and are both compatible.

Try replacing your video plugin with the one I posted in this thread (http://www.emutalk.net/dolphin/30999-shader-probs-dolphin-final-1-03-beta-fix.html) ;)

He's probably using the nJoy plugin, because a Dialog box of "No Joystick Detected" pops up, he says.
