Open Glide Help

I HATE OPEN GL. all i want to do is play American Mc'Gees Alice and it worked before and suddenlly it wont. it says (cant find secondary GL device or something like that. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN. sorry for the caps but im mad.

ATI Rage 128 and like I said it worked before.

secondary gl device should indicate that it tries to use a 3d addon card (e.g. voodoo) if im not completely mistaken here. r u sure u didnt change ur config?

im sure i didn't. i dont even have a voodoo card. but ill see what i can do. maybe im the one who's just 2 slow here

it may seem cheap but why doncha just try re-installing ur driver? plz just dont take my word that it works, im just making guesses out of experience with probs like that.

its wot i told u. for some reason the game is trying to use opengl thru a voodoo card. "3dfxvgl" , "assuming no 3dfx available" (WOW! thats a pretty clear error message actually :)) -> thats ur problem. u must have changed something if it worked before.

If you've got a Glide2x.dll in your Windows, or Windows System folder, try moving moving it elsewhere on your system out of the windows directory.

Also if that doesn't work, and you don't have a vast amount of custom settings set up for the game, try deleting its .ini file.

yah 2fast4u i changed the drivers back to the old ones and it worked. dont know why the new drivers dont work

Install the newest drivers for your video card, delete and .cfg files for the game, and try starting it again.

PS, OpenGL is not Open Glide. It is Open Graphics Library.
