Shader Probs with Dolphin FINAL 1.03 Beta FIX!

IF you are having problems with the current 1.03 BETA - where the emulator will close when booting a game with shaders turned on (but works fine with shaders off). Then replace the VideoPlugin.dll with the one attached in this post.

This is an older beta video plugin that has no shader issues, thus you will be able to play / test games with shaders enabled :D :bouncy:

Yay! It worked! I have a question though. Does this older plugin work worse than the plugin originally included?

There is technically very little difference between the two, most of the improvements in this release came in the actual core of the emulator it'self.

You go to the GFX settings (little monitor icon) and select the shader you want in the "Use shader ver." section.

Clear your browser's cache and try again.

k. i'm a incredebly big noob (notice my title). so, what is a browser's cache?

The cache is a folder that stores information about the pages you wish, some things you download from the net, etc. etc. Sometimes the data in the cache can become corrupt, giving you errors in downloads and whatnot. Clearing the cache usually solves issues like this.

If you are using Firefox, you can clear the cache (or certain parts of it) via try Privacy tab in Settings. IE's cache can be cleared via Control Panel --> Internet Options.
