Morpheus messing up

Basically I'm in the middle of a 400mb download using morpheus. I try to restart it again and I get a 'your version is too old' message. After scouring the net, I find I have the absolutely latest version (1.3). Anyone else got this problem? Please don't tell me to download kazaa the pain removing the spyware in that far outweighs its positive features.

i had the exact same problen today, and i still cant connect, its a bit of a pain in the arse :ohoh:

ps. i wouldnt bother re-installing it, it makes no difference at all

My suggestion: Uninstall Morpheus and get Direct Connect.

The patch will be availlable in a few days. (that's what the bot says in the main chat area). Malicious people try to sale an "updated version". Don't buy it. ;)

I said just wait, and zorbid says they are working on a patch. Just be patient.

kazaa is very similar, except I believe it has spyware.

I have no idea what Direct Connect is and mIRC, while it's a cool program, nowhere compares to Morpheus. They are two enilery diffrent programs both with their own uses, advantages, and disadvantages. Besides, many ppl can't figure out how to use mIRC.

Totally agree with you edgeblade, while mirc is good for ahem 'specialist' downloads, morpheus beats it tenfold in terms of servers and speed. I just hope it doesnt get shut down a la napster.

This happens because KaZaa got an update which contained some changes in the network structure....morpheus will release a new version in some days.
