Any way to fix background prob in Wipeout?

When i play any track on Wipeout 64, the backgrounds are either mostly black (in blocks) or is completly black.

I am using the latest drivers (Nvidia5200) and PJ641.6

Is their a tick box that people already know about that would fix it? I have tried a few but they dont seem to help.

Any ideas?
