OK first i will tell y'all my system specs.

WIndows XP Pro
Intel Pentium 4 1.8ghz
512mb ram
Ati Radeon 9250 256ddr
Sound Card: I have no idea :P

I am using 1964 with the jabos d3d plug ins.

The problem is that some games that are supposed to run at full speed still run kinda slow and sometimes even crash. I was playing Turok 3 and it crashed a few times. It starts cool between 60-55 fps but it just crashes out of nowhere.

When i use Project 64 the emulator is even slower..... i dunno why.

Goldeneye: I know that goldeneye need a powerful pc to run at full speed, but i think that my pc can run it but it runs pretty slow unless i use the auto cf timing.

any hel??? what should i do?? should i upgrade?

Well you got to remmber these emulators weren't 100% ment for PC gameing plus you might have to many programs running while your playing your emulator. Make sure you only have the emulator running and not other programs like AIM, KAzaa, and other misc. programs. as for some games its best to run them on open gl cause it uses the power of your graphics card and not so much of your processor.

Try using some different plugins. You can try Rice's plugin for better performance on Goldeneye.
