Everything works fine for about the first minute of gameplay. After that the sound starts skipping and vis slowly goes down to zero
I'm using Jabo's d3d 7 1.40
I've tried no sound, and both of Azimer's audio plugins
and the Adaptoid Plugin v1.0
So far i've seen this in THPS 1 and 2, and in 007
System Specs:
Win XP Pro
Athlon 850
384 megs of ram
Any help would be appreciated

What video card are you using? If you have a mainstream card, i.e Geforce / Radeon, try updating your video card drivers. If it is a Savage card the crash is due to bad drivers... and to bad video card...

Have you tried Project 64? Does it also crash? If not use it... have you tried earlier versions of 1964, do they also crash... Update your drivers and see if it makes any difference... Uninstall 1964 with the included reg keys and re install it...

Is your processor (AMD Athlon) overclocked?? If it is, it's not stable. If it's overclocked, increase the processor (VCore) voltage.
If not, make sure the voltage is set to 1.75 V .
What is your processor temp. ??? If it's above 130 F , you must have better cooling. It's not recommended for the processor temp to go beyond 120 F .
