direct3D failed??

hi u guys, first let me say i'm sorry if my post is in the wrong place, but i'm new.
I downloaded "2005-04-01/project64 v1.6,public release, 1.98mb windows installer",when i go and try runnin' the emulator i get this message
"Direct3D failed to iniatialize. Error code: 8876086A. DeDERR:NOT AVAILABLE"
i'm not that good with computers so i really don't know what that means,if anybody can help, i'll appreciate it
this is some info about my pc.
windows xp
intel ( R)
Celeron ( R)CPU 1.70GHz
1.69GHz, 96,0 MB de RAm

Whatever type of video card you have, you probably need to update the drivers.

hi and thank u, my video card is "Ethernet Fast PCI de SiS 900 " i dont know if u familiar with that one i hope is that so i can go ahead and update the drivers.

Ethernet means that it is a network card .

thanks , so does that mean that i got the wrong emulator? or this emulator doesn't work with this type of video cards?

I don't know what video card you have because Ethernet Fast PCI de SiS 900 can't be a video card, it's a network card. Ethernet means that it is a network card.
