N64 Homebrew

Me and a friend are interested in making a homebrew game using bits from other N64 titles that me have on ROMs. Does anyone know of any programs or tutorials we can use to help us in this task.

the best place for that would be over at www.dextrose.com, just browse through the n64 forum archive and i'm sure you can find some good info, or just post a thread and i'm sure someone will reply
