What Video Card Works The Best For Project64?

im getting a new computer In Few Days!
and i need to know what is the best video card that works with Project64?
the computer has 2.8Ghz Processor,AMD 64 bit i have to ,
put other stuff in it such as hard drive cd drive etc, its a barebone pc,
I Really Want To Play Conkers Bad Fur Day! Without Graphics Flaws Error Messages!
i just need to know wich 128mb video card works best!
please let me know!

Check the recommended requirements in the PJ64 manual.

Yay - GeForce FX 5xxx/6 series or Radeon 9500/Xxxx series for full functionality;

Nay - S3/Savage, Intel, Matrox, ATi Rage Pro, any GeForce MX variant.

alright seems my little thread is getting some replys! lol,
well anyway, the new comptuer will be on its way on the 1st,
i cant wait to get my new pc! 2.8GHz Processor! man cant wait to play with that!
im trying to find the best video card! my 64 mb aint gonna cut it lol,
so if somebody can list a few such 128mb cards that are cheap, please do so,

i dont know much on newer hardware or new Systems
im mostly a computer tech for older systems And Older Hardware!
*drools* i cant wait for my new pc! lol
i really want to get A, ATI Randeon 9800pro 128MB 256BIT AGP8Xtv video card v50!

go for an 6600GT AGP, better than the 9800PRO, and it´s newer, great for newer games.

2.6ghz....could be an celeron (not celeron D) and.....a bad thing

Yeah the 6600 GT is a really good card. It's served me well. It's really good for emulation also.

wich is really good, AMD are exelent processors,
im trying to find cheap video cards lol, at least 128 like i say,
probally price around $40 or so,

HEhehe that´s right, Pentium4 are only to heat the room in winter :D

the best (and cheaper) card for emulation, its the GeForce FX5200,but forget to play newer games (F.E.A.R. Demo, Doom3,etc) with an 5200 with nice FPS

I suggest you buy a Geforce 6600 or a radeon 9800, dunno the prices in america but i'd say both are likely around 150.

If yer willing to buy big then a 6600gt or an ati x800pro :p

Also a celeron is not a pentium 4... and my p4 would obliterate any sempron when it comes to high-end gaming :D --Also there aint much heat coming from my tower and definitely not hot enough to heat a room.

Celerons definitely suck, though.

and an sempron kill an celeron in any game.
An overclocked sempron socket 754 (Sempron 3400, overclocked to 2.6ghz realy easy to reach)fight head to head with an A64 FX55 so...

celeron are based on P4 cores, the actual celeron D is based on Prescott core (PresHOT,Pressh*t, wathever), but with less cache (important for netburst core)

Only the new celerons D are 64-bit, socket 775 only and few models (32-bit rip)


But, go for AMD...better performance in games and much more than Intel desktop products!

they kick ass! celeron sucks lol,
well guys i can get a Brand New Geforce128mb card,
i have to trade the pc store my 64mb video card,
and my extra windows 98 cd and my extra old 8 gig hard drive,
its far worth it! muhahahaha we are a bunch of graphics and computer nerds! lol,
