Syphon Filter III help with ePSXe 1.6.0

The game works fine in ePSXe 1.6.0 but when it shows letters, they look almost unreadable. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Oh and my specs are Pentium 4, Windows XP, 2.8 GHz, 512MB RAM, Nivdia GeForce 5200.

Come come now, no dissing the Emachines. I'm sure one out of every 100 work correctly!

Bootleg - I don't know as I don't have the game, but your best bet is always to try multiple plugins and fiddle with the settings!

Specificly, get Pete's latest graphics plugin.

As acorn said try changing the resolution and try different Pete's plugins (D3D/OGL/OGL2) or the software P.E.Op.S. plugin. As you haven't told what your graphics card is i don't know which of the plugins will work on your system.

I already stated that my graphics card is a Nividia GrForce FX 5200.

Ah sorry, my bad. But try experimenting. If it doesn't work then... i don't know.

I fixed it. I just used Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.76 and it fixed the problem perfectly so far. But the error is fixed there.

I have always had a lockup on the game after the 2nd level so I haven't really tried to play the game anymore. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this problem?
