Need help(No Mercy rom)

Here is my problem everytime I go to open up the rom on nemu and the nemu says nemulating. The whole emulator shuts down completely. Is there anyway I can fix this?

If it helps, I can play the game perfectly on Project64, but I'm trying to hack moves on No Mercy and they said you can only use nemu.

PJ64 is the best emulator for the 64...use it.
