epsxe game issue

I have Final Fantasy V and I can't get it to run. It is the PAL version, that when you open the file it has mdf and mds files. I am just trying to get the game to run. Any help would be appreciated.

Uhh.... why don't you just select "Run CD"?

Since the game is PAL you may have to change the CD plugin to read subchannels. Some of the PAL games had copyright protection. I've never heard of this with FFV though

I have another question. I have working roms but they are going way too fast, how do I slow them down?

Turn on limit fps in the graphics plugin? (pete's plugins for example have this)
