well from your specs (a 200FSB mainly) you can't overclock your chip extreamly high. Im thinking probably around 1.1ghz at very max (with out burning and BSODs and freezing), and you'd probably need a additional fan @ that speed. I have a 266FSB Athlon 1.2ghz and I've been able to overclock it to 2.1ghz, but I almost fried my chip :D oh, and I have 7 fans all together in my computer, note my sig :p

Hmm a 900 Mhz Athlon. Is this a slot or socket model?
I got my duron 800 to 1070 by upping my Fsb from 100 -> 133. I bet this chip could do way more, but my PSU is starting to be the bottleneck :(. I will have to order one of those 400W ones :) But it would have to be quiet as hell, as all the stuff in my system is watercooled, and i don't want to have one of those hairdrier computers again ;)

you cannot use proggies to overclock you CPU

also you may have to use the pencil method, I'm not sure since I can't see you cpu ;) but you may need to use the pencil method to access the multiplyers by connecting the jumpers, on top of your cpu (under the fan and the heat conducting goo) the graphite in the pencil lead will complete the circuit

if you're serious about this sort of thing , I really recommend searching out a decent overclockers forum

(It's just a link I pulled out of the ether btw ;) )

you can overclock it to a maximum of 5 Ghz.
why? because it's just long enough to start up and play a game of Minesweeper in Expert Mode with 99 mines before the thing blows.
