i have right now:
radeon 9000pro
athlon xp 1800
512 DDR
i have Naruto_Gekitou_Ninja_Taisen 1
and while fighting it works on 3.80-4.80 fps with 640x480
i also close all the programs while i play it and make it in the CPU on "high priority".
---
i thinking to buy soon something like athlon 2800
and geforce fx around 5700
so whice is more important to make it work faster?
anyone that have computer with parts about like these
can tell me how fast does it work...
and in Dolphin 1.03 is it going to realy improve the fps ?

no computer can play it at full speed. end of story. if u buy a new computer exclusively for this purpose you are going to be wasting a ton of money

Well your wasting your money if you think you will see a huge increase ih speed with dolphin.Don't upgrade if it's just because you want more speed with dolphin.

i know there wont be a huge increase im not expecting huge increase, i know
its about the software coding compilers and all those
but entill the new guy that took over Dolphin will make improvments ,
its abvious you will still need good computer and
if i get that much improved computer maby
AMD 2800/3000 64bit
and video card
Geforce 5900 (whice is same price as radeon 9800pro but i red its better)
how much increase in FPS can it give?
anyone that have really good computer can tell me how many FPS he get ingame?
i understand you say its not worth to spend money just for that but i want to upgrade my computer andway for the long range so im asking
how many FPS people with very good computer get ingame
like when playing Naruto_Gekitou_Ninja_Taisen

Almost zero increase. Save your money and buy a GC - it's the same price as an Athlon64 3000+, but unlike the A64, it will give perfect frame rates in all games.

If you're gonna upgrade anyway buy a Amd Athlon XP 64 3000+ socket 939, the socket 939 XP 64 are much better than the socket 754 ones, and buy a nvidia 6600GT instead of 5900 it only costs a little more and it's much better

i back up the 939 cpu and definitely a 6600 over a 5900 (which is a poor series from nvidia)

hmm i'm guess i need to upgrade the faq a bit, since zillion people keep asking if dolphin will perform better with a "high end" system...
as for the anwser:
Almost zero increase. Save your money and buy a GC - it's the same price as an Athlon64 3000+, but unlike the A64, it will give perfect frame rates in all games.
You should never upgrade your computer for an emu anyway
