ePSXe 160: Black Screen after 'esc'

When I exit the default "full screen" on my ePsXe emu when I need to say... post a thread on emutlak.net.... when I try to maximize it again, all I see is a black screen. I can hear and play the game, but I can't see anything.
So whats up?

My computer does this sometimes with Direct3d programs, but opengl ones work fine. ATi?
