Zelda OOT save state is not working

So I saved right after I beat the first boss, then I went to get some food. When I came back and tried to load the damn state the emu locks up and stops responding....

Is there anyway to fix this? If not anyone know of a good site to download a good save state?

Which version of Pj64 are u using?
Which plugins do u use?
Is it a good rom u are using?
