Problem with Cruis 'n' Usa

It shows the very first screen saying Nintendo and having some dates. Then it just hangs and does nothing. And something weirder:

When I close the rom and reopen it without restarting the emulator, the screen I was talking about before comes up all messed up. Here is a screenshot. Any help:

As far as I know Cruisin´ USA is a known sorrow kid for the emu community...I don´t think there´s a fix for that yet...

1964.071,jabo direct 3d6.1.20b(the one you get with project 64 1.2),any newer versions ends up crashing azimer audio v0.30

Some of the menus are small but in game is fine - screenshots on the site as normal!

I think there should be a notification in the docs.

(If it's a known issue I mean).
