Lots of texture problems

I'm getting a lot of texture errors, missing / black textures, on games that supposedly work fine, Ikaruga for example. Any suggestion about what can I do to solve this?

I take it it's your gfx card. What card do you have?

play around wit the alpha/zbuffer
in options

get directx9c and latst gfx drivers
and if all fails; get an ATI card ;-)

I did play with those, but to no success. Probably its a thing of my card since its a laptop Intel chip, the thing is that a friend of mine got some of those games working correctly with that same chip, weird. I asked him about his config but there's no clue why this happens.

MAybe you have differnt opersating systems/versions of chankast/ games?
what ver of drivers and directx does ur buddyu have?
sync w/ all his and u should be fine

I updated all drivers and DirectX to no effect, and both are the same laptop so it's weird sigh
