help n64 to usb

Ok, heres the deal. I got the n64 controller to usb adapter. Hooked it up. Windows found it i just hit net yes etc. not looking at what it said. I looke on the floppy the adapter came with, read the read me and i guess i was supposed to manually select the driver wonce windows gave me the option to. I want to know what to do to fix this problem. Please help me. It will be deeply appreciated.

If you're using Windows 2000/XP you shouldn't need drivers. Otherwise, you can install them manually through the Gaming Options applet in the Windows control panel. Add > Add Other > Have Disk... Could be worded differently in other versions of Windows.

it doesnt show up as a gamepad

that means i cant config it in pj64
