I just bought an USB adaptor to use my N64 controller with the emulator, but I can`t figure out how am I supposed to configure it in order to use the controller instead of the keyboard.

Windows already detected my pad, so it is not a problem of the adaptor, but of the emulator

The emulator I`m currently using is 1964 v. 0.9.9

You need to use an input plugin for the emulator and assign the keys. You'll find them here:

There is another version of that plugin, N-Rage version 2 1.83. It works great...

OK, I finally solved the problem. I downloaded a plugin called Darkman D_Input, which allowed me to use the N64 controller (although right now, I`m playing with my PSone controller, which is more comfortable and looks cooler). Thanks for all your input, I`ll definitely continue browsing this forums from now on.
