Hmm well it seems like either your computer keeps getting Hijacked. There is a program called HijackThis and it can delete some junk that could be causing such security holes...but make sure you know what you are deleting because it could cause some registry problems with your computer. Also, did you try deleting that file mswe1.exe? That may be the cause of your registry issue. Good Luck-minkster

Also a big set of security patches were just released today by Microsoft. Its likely the news of these patches also informed potential hackers of the weakness and your probably not updated yet. Be sure you run both Windows Update and Office update. In the updates there is a removal tool.

YIKES. I updated windows like, 5 days ago. I tend to check it once a week... 10 UPDATES. I'm lucky to get 3 or 4 a month, and within a week, 10? Yikes, Microsoft dropped the ball on this one.

You mean they should have just released them a bit slower... yeah that'd be clever ;)
If there are holes they release the fixes when they can.

Interesting that this was released shortly after the announcement that they would not allow updates to pirated Windows copies. A bunch of hackers are now aware of the security flaws and this leaves the pirated un-updated copies of Windows to be ravaged by various negative effects.

Actually not allowing updates was just the announcement of whats to come, pirated copies can still get these updates at the moment.
