Now that ATI has decided to update to X.Org I was wondering if anyone out there had managed to get them installed on Fedora Core 3. I am forever getting errors, even after installing the source for the latest kernel.

Poor ATI drivers for linux are the main reason I haven't dual booted my main box. Nvidia are piss easy to install on any distro I've used, hence my boxes with linux all have Nvidia cards....

If anyone want to say, float me 200 bucks, or a 6600GT, I'l do that :P but FC2 doesnt have as many problems with ATI drivers, so I will mess with it, and if that fails, ill go back to 1, which i know for a fact works quite well with the ATI drivers, it seems since they switched to X.ORG ATI has been very very reluctant to do anything about their drivers.
