How to change SPS to SGM?

Hi everybody. Just joined the forum. Anyways, I just downloaded a gamesave for Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, but it came as an SPS and I need SGM for the VBA. Can anyone tell me how to convert it? Or perhaps direct me to a place where I can get SGMs? Thanks a lot in advance!

if i'm not wrong,all you have to do is select the option to chage the name of the file,and after you write the name, write also .sgm, and voilá :happy: !the file's type has changed!at least that's how it works for me...

Hey, thanks for the help. It worked indeed, but only halfway, I'm afraid. My VBA won't recognize the file as a save. I've tried it with 1.7.2 and 1.8 beta, any idea what could be going wrong?

probably the save type...
go to options->emulator->save type->automatic
this should do it...it runs fine for me,and i'm using the 1.7.2 version!!

OK I just tried it again and the save type was already on automatic. =\ It doesn't load automatically so I try hitting Load in the File menu, and I get this message: "unsupported VisualBoyAdvance save file version 13". I seriously don't know what to do now haha. I really want this save file because I lost my Sora data (right at the end of the game too) and I don't wanna play all the way through again just to see his ending, so I got this save so I can both see his ending AND play through Riku's scenario. Anyways, yeah. Let me know if there's anything else I could be doing wrong. Again, version 1.8 beta, save type automatic(flash 128k), file name kingdom_hearts_memories_j.sgm, if you want you can get that file yourself from gamefaqs.com>GBA>KH:CoM>Game Saves>the one that says "both scenarios completed, go to load game to find last possible save point in both Sora and Riku". Thanks a lot for the help. Hope we can figure this out. :)

Someone please help! :( This really sucks, no matter how I change the settings of my VBA (done this for every version!) I can't get this save file to load. It won't recognize it. I get the save version 13 error message. There HAS to be a way to do this. Any help at all is much much appreciated!

looks like you posted about a month ago

1 leave the file as an .sps

2 go file^ import^gameshark snapshot^ select the sps you want ^ OPEN
