effects are a lil better but the textures arent as smooth
PJ64

effects not as nice ( such as fog ) and textures are smoother and the over all game is a lil faster.
which looks better to you

Really you are just comparing graphics plugins - 1964's default is Rice's Video and PJ64's in Jabo's D3D. You can use either graphics plugin in either emulator. Rice's Video is more accurate, just make sure you are using the latest version.

5.6.0 is the latest. Also, notice in the second shot the sky isn't rendered correctly.

yah i did notice that also.. seems the rice plugin has more detail but that is probably why it runs slower.. they both actually get choppy especially when theres a lot of action goin on.. any way to fix that? thanx for you help

Rice Video 5.50b2 is the way to go!!! It's superior to Jabo's GFX plugin, which never renders the trees properly on the first Severnaya level. *
*- Requires at least pixel shader 1.1. If your video card don't have at least pixel shader 1.1, like the GeForce 4 MX, the trees won't be rendered properly. Sorry, non pixel shader video card users.

Rice just released his 5.9.9 plugin. It works great with Goldeneye on my FX5200 and 1964.

The second picture looks like Anti-Aliasing is enabled so it looks better around the polygon edges...the first picture has a correct sky and the fog in the tunnel looks more accurate.
