I am using VBA 1.75 and all I get is a white screen at the start.

gah, i always thought pokemon sucked anyways. ever since yellow its gone downhill.

Delete your save and set the save type to 'automatic' and 'Flash 128k'. It works fine after that.

Works fine for me. Try killing your INI file and it should work fine. Then put back your settings one by one and see which one breaks it.

As for saves, Automatic is the default, but 64k is selected. This is OK, since the game actually stores two 64 KB saves in its 128 KB flash chip. You'll just get a "save is corrupted" message and then it'll load the one that fits in the eumlated 64 KB. Annoying, yes. Fatal, no.
