Hi everyone ! ;)

First, I want to congratulate Hactarux, Blight,JttL and all peoples that made Mupen64 ; it is the only N64 emulator for linux, and a wonderful one. For me, it seems to work better than any other N64 emulator for Windows (and I tried a lot with a lot of plugin and a lot of configuration) !!

Though, I have a (very) little problem with it : for some games - such as Mario Kart 64, Diddy Kong Racing..., I cannot understand why, it goes way too fast. I cannot find any speed limiter, I think it is integrated inthe emulator because for other games - Zelda OOT & MM, Mario 64..., it is just perfect. Do you have any idea for that problem ?

My specs :

-> Software :
Mupen64 0.4
Glide64 video plugin (do the same with Rice 5.2.0)
JttL's SDL sound plugin (do the same with any other sound plugin)
Blight's input plugin
Mandrake Community 10.1 (updated with KDE 3.3.1)

-> Hardware :
Dell Latitude D600 Laptop
Ati Radeon 9000 (fglrx driver enabled)
Pentium M (Centrino) 1.4
RAM 512 MB
HD 60 Go

Can't think to any relevant point now ; ask me if I forgot something !

Thanks for your help.

PS : let me just say a word in french for congratulating - one more time - Hactarux (I'm a french guy) : superbe émulateur, bravo pour votre travail je ne pensais pas réussir à me passer de windows tout en pouvant continuer à jouer ainsi à mes jeux N64 ;)

Try a different audio plugin (I recommand JttL's one) and syncing the game to audio.

That's wrong. Mupen was made by Hacktarux only. blight wrote an input plugin and JttL a sound plugin, that's all they have to do with Mupen.

err... blight wrote the linux GUI too as well as various plugins ports, the first sound plugin implementation of mupen64 and possibly other things i don't remember right now ;)

Speed limiter should be inside the sound plugin.
