Right what you think, org was really busy rewritting a huge part of the Dolwin code, this morning, just got the excellent new (when I woke up at 7h30 to go to school :P) that he sent a beta to the beta testers :D. after my 2 hours courses, I tried it, got some help from _chrono_ to get some games to work, also had time to get org to fix some stuff.Some Games were hard to get started, had to skip instructions in the debug to get pass where they were stuck. The new thing that helped at lot is that Ector ported his latest Dolphin video plugin to Dolwin (dolphin plugin version that I don't even have!). That thing got a lot of games to runs , and some others better + faster!

ok, enough with the talking, here comes the shots, 30 of them , gonna make a lot of posts.... note also that some shots got a lot of bugs, this is dfue to the port, there are a lot of textures bugs to fix in the plugin.

Last part and the best one - Zelda Wind Waker!

it runs almost like on Dolphin - some textures errors, I don't know if the characters textures problem and the shadow bug are in it, the game hangs frequently, so I couldn't see, a lot of thing to mess with to play :P

They're awesome shots. But, how come they say December 31st, 1999 in the bottom right? XD

... Think a NTSC version of Zelda Collector's Edition would work if it just doesn't want to work without 60HZ mode?

Edit: If Pikmin 2 gets that far, how does Pikmin 1 work? >_>

-About the date, seems like a bug with the dolphin video plugin, the dolwin ones are working just fine (well, time it working but starting at midnight on the january 1st 2000 :P)

-Zelda Collector's edition is PAL, some TVs out there can do 50Hz and other 60Hz I bet..... damn europeans - confirmation - PAL50 and PAL60 :P

-For Pikmin 1, didn't get it to work yet, maybe sometime later.

I accidently got pikmin to boot ( I don't even know how I did that) but it doesn't work anymore :\.... I got it to work by skipping stuff but I think I skipped too much, 2d/3d/textures are a bit messed up... got an unhlandled opcode error after the last shot, thing that stopped the game.

i think the dolphin beta doesnt use the new system specs.

Last night org implemented the locked cache thingy and Star Soldier now goes in game. Very slow though :p

org is at it again. he sent us a new better and let me tell you that it made a huge improvement. i only had the time to test 1080 Avalanche...
org focusses more on compatibility and getting further in games then having more speed, (kinda like PCSX2 :p) nway, ill let the shots speak for themselves. Remember that 1080 only uses to get as far as the N and Dolby logo.

very impressive shots as always. The gfx look almost perfect... was the port of Dolphin video plugin worked on more? I see it only has problems with 2d sprites now mostly, like in the first few shots.

i dont think org has touched alot the plugin. as for the first few shots... i do beleive its a video (not too sure on that...) all the other 2D logos (N logo,Dolby logo) show up perfectly...

I think or9 fixed the bug that caused the games crashing after nintendo logo and dolby look at this, and more games are fixed, but i havent got time to post more.

Well , the good thing now is that I can go up to MKDD title screen but can't go ingame (I'm positive that it should work fine). The problem , like in some other games, is that I can't use any arrows (any movement keys) to get on the "yes" to continue without mem card , the things that could solve this is if the mem cards would be fixed or getting the controls fixed or having smth to make it "goes" ( a command) to the "yes".

EDITED : sry hotquik , it wasn't in my intentions! :P

well thats cause Knuckles has a decent card. My Radeon 9200SE is rushing alot and in MKDD some textures arent correctly displayed. ill be getting anew card soon tough... :D

the strict minimum i would say would be a 9500Pro or FX5700... judging from what ive seen. doesnt mean games are playable...just means they'll at least display correctly :)

indeed, ill probably test more in about 2-3 weeks since im deep in homeworks right now... and i should have by then either a Radeon 9800Pro or a Geforce 6600GT :D

Yeah, i noticed when i switched from my Geforce 4200Ti to my Geforce 6600GT, since my Ti card didn't have Pixelshader 2.0. It wasn't only the mpeg2 decoding that cleared up, but also alot of background colours etc, even in zelda and more titles.

WoW! i am really surprised how u have got an gamecube games in emulation i only started using n64 emulation recently ... but im amazed by these screen shots. Keep up the good work.

Speed improved quite a bit now. in MKDD the intro with the cloud guy goes significantly mucho faster then before.

also, heres 2 more shots. you can now start a game in RE3 :)

more progress on crazy taxi and ikaruga. I fixed all texture bugs in ported Dolphin video plugin and now gfx is slighty better. fps in these games is about 10.

The gfx are flawless in those shots! :D

While for the most part(the cars look great), the parts around the grey parts are unusually pixelated, like old dos games. Wierd.

I did some "longer" and funnier testing :P

I played BAM for some hours to see if everything would be saved, closed the emu , reopened and reloaded the game and everything got perfectly saved :D! the only prob seems that is doesn't actually work for all games (like SA2B)....

indeed... BaM was able to format and save on memcard while games like RE3 are giving me Access Errors. I'll do much more testing tomorrow since i dont have work!

Also, it has some problems accessing the memory card, which is why it says "no mem card found" With the card plugged in, it had trouble reading it, and it didnt go past the reading mem card screen.
