Here in Germany it's a well known group (of course, they are German :P) and this song is the first place in our Top 100 and is played up and down in the radio. And in your country?

I know the group and i dont like em.

They are to Dark but i like the Song America becaue i think its a Ironic Song.

And if we Germans watching TV we can see English language TV spots and we speak English like "ey voll cool" or Alter das Rockt" and in 100 Years we can sing all together "we all livin in America" :party:

Very much aware of them. They're regularly in UK `Rock` magazine Kerrang, but not really my thing. Then again my CD collection is best described as `varied`, in that I own around little over a dozen albums.

rammstein is not really my thing. its average rock as far as im concerned and way too slow-paced for my taste ... and that amerika song is just downright awful. whats interesting is that many of my yank friends go for this stuff like hell though the lyrics are usually pretty fucked up AND in german.

Gonna see a concert by them in a month. I am not a great fan of them anymore though, but I used to listen to them much and I'm sort of going for old times sake. They have quite cool live shows though (pyroworks anyone?).

I don't like the Amerika song too much tho, it's kinda dull after hearing it a few times.

I love Rammstein and the new Album is FANTASTIC. Especially the songs: Reise Reise, Mein Teil, Amerika and Moskau. What I like on "Amerika"? I'm not a friend of the American way of life. I HATE George W Bush, because he WASN'T elected. I hate their decision in Kyoto (environmental protection, you know),...

Nah, its not political afaik (except the song amerika)...it's the usual very very "questionable" sex and other shit theme. :P

Ok, not so much/only that...anyways, if you liked Mutter from Rammstein give it a try.

Yeah my favs, too. Moskau is the greatest title on the Album, sound like TATU+Rammstein... a great mix... Great Album... have to buy it (only a friend of mine have it)

i was amazed after i listened to amerika i was like " if this is the single its gonna be that awful the full album yehaa" but the new albun sucks balls, atm just moskou and amerika are my fav songs..

I find Dalai Lama one of the coolest tracks. It has much of the old Rammstein in it. Reise, Reise ist auch gut ;)

Well Rammstein is funny to me only because no one knows them in my town.
A syndicated morning radio show in my area used to play one of there songs as a joke. Man was it funny. One reason it was funny because of the aggressive nature on how they sung the song. Don't get me wrong the general conscensis was this song is cool sounding. You play Rammstein against regular radio tunes and you can see a parady.

I recently got the CDM remix pack of Rammstein - Amerika . There are some really nice tracks in that pack ! I can only recommend to take a look on it ;)

Even me being a German, the lyrics are hard to understand sometimes, but I'm sure you can find translations on the web.
