CBFD: Problem with the wasps

The 2nd time I come across the wasps, I get into the hive and start shooting them down, but there are two that just won't die! I've been shooting at them non-stop for 5 minutes(I have been hitting them a lot, especially when they fly straight towards me), and they still just won't die!

When I hit them, they just fall downwards while moving backwards(Sometimes going thru the walls) then fly back up shortly afterwards... Anyone know what I'm supposed to do to get rid of them? I've tried picking up the hive but I just get back into it instead... TIA for any help.

Thanks, but I've tried just about every FAQ/Walkthrough I can find, the general idea is I'm supposed to shoot them all down then pick up the hive & run... the problem is I can't shoot them all down because these last two won't die!

can be a bug with the rom is it good?check it with goodn64 and see

The rom's fine, I've checked it's CRCs and MD5, they are both ok.

I finally got past it... I visited the barrel first, then went back and it worked fine
