Is there a way to turn the music or sounds off?

Hi all

I did this last year some time, but it doesn't work anymore. I've got Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but neither of the "Music Off" gameshark codes do anything.

Any help?

I meant just the music. The gameshark code worked last year, but it doesn't anymore. I was just wondering if there's any special method you have to go through to get these things to work.

You could have a different version of these rom. Probably you had last year the V1.0 (that are mostly the version the codes are done for) and lost it, redumbed :))) it and now you have the V1.1, then the code won't work.
BTW: work the other codes which are on these site? (the source would be good to know)
And please, don't do double posting, because you have asked the question in 2 threads now!

What the hell do you mean "turn your speakers off"?! The reason I want the
music off and the sounds on, is so I can record them. I run a Zelda Sound site, I guess you could call it a hobby.

You already replied, and besides, wether or not you have your speakers on, you can still record sound or music.
