is the wait a good sign?

it really depends because a fast release could be one of many things....like they could have a serious bug that they didnt relize when they released it so then they can quickly update it. or they added more features and are noticeable for a new realese. slow realeases could be that they are working very hard on the emu with optimizations or they could be taking a break from their hard work. just be patient and you will have a realease when its out.

Let's see the whole thing from the beginning... The authors released the emu (v0.1) but it had many bugs and random crashes were common; after that they released another version (v0.2) that had some bugs fixed, much less crashes and another input plugin as well as some other features; due to many complains about Win2k incompatibility, the lack of a fullscreen feature and some other things they released another version (v0.25) but unfortunately it broke a couple of games... So a reasonable reason for this "wait" is probably the will of the authors to release something more stable, increase the speed, fix some GFX and sound problems, fix some issues that appeared in v0.25, add a more complete plugin system and maybe to add Win9x compatibility.
