ripping sounds/music from gba rom (not wav/mp3)

i know this has probably been mentioned before (probably a few times by me as well).

but, im wondering if anyone has found a way to rip sounds and/or music from a gba rom instead of recording it to a wav/mp3

No sound format for GBA to my knowledge exists, however there is this tool called Sappy which may interest you as it creates MIDIs from GBA music. I suggest you Google if you are interested in that.
