View Full Version : Kaillera server help (all netplay emus) PLEASE help ASAP!

Hey, in programs where you can make your own server I have a really good ping and so does my opponant (Zsnes), but in all Kaillera netplay servers my DSL has a minimal ping of 171 and THAT is not good. I don't have the fastest modem, but it's a 256 so I should at least get decent ping times. Is there any way to create my own Kaillera server? If not, are there Genesis emus that have other means of netplay like Zsnes? Thanks.

Wow!!! Even my 56k modem can get lower than 171ms.

YOur probably connecting to a server that's far away from your location. Look for a server that's closer. You can make your own kaillera server, but with your low upload speed, only 1 or 2 people can play at a time or else it's gonna lag everyone. The kaillera server program can be found at the kaillera homepage.

Hehe. Well, where are you located? You can still host your own server and ask someone to join it. But they too will have to be living near you or have a very fast connection else they will have a high ping.
